Thousand Oaks, CA – October 2015…
Mitchell Guitars’ new top-of-the-line Element Series guitars are among the finest instruments the company has ever created, combining premium tonewoods with state-of-the art construction techniques. Due to an extraordinary response to the initial offering, sales outpaced production. We are pleased to announce that  all four models are fully back in stock at authorized Mitchell dealers.

Available in dreadnought and auditorium styles, Element Series guitars feature solid spruce or red cedar tops with sapele or Indian rosewood bodies, providing a wide range of tonal possibilities.
Each Element Series guitar has a mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and dovetail joint. Mitchell’s shifted, scalloped bracing enables each instrument’s top to breathe and resonate more freely, resulting in enhanced tone and projection. High-ratio, die-cast tuners keep tuning stable, while ebony keys and gorgeous flame maple binding give Element Series guitars the look and feel of far more expensive instruments.

The ME1 dreadnought acoustic guitar features a solid spruce top with a striped sapele back and sides. This creates notably punchy midrange and great projection. Also available in 2 acoustic-electric versions: the ME1CE is a cutaway acoustic-electric dreadnought, and the ME1ACE is a smaller, auditorium-sized cutaway acoustic electric, both featuring Fishman’s new INK series electronics, which provide outstanding tone control. The acoustic-electric models also offer a built-in chromatic tuner.

At the top of the lineup is our ME2CEC dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar  -combining a solid cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides for a warmer midrange with enhanced bass and treble response. It also features a Venetian cutaway, and the same Fishman INK electronics as the rest of the acoustic-electric models in the Element lineup.
“The new Element Series guitars are without a doubt the highest-quality, best-appointed instruments Mitchell has ever created,” observes Mitchell Product Manager Rick Gagliano. “For the player who demands great tone, superior build, and a well-balanced, performance-focused instrument, these new Element Series guitars are a perfect fit.”
